Naruto TCG Heads to Barcelona and São Paulo

Spain made the list. On November 6, Bandai posted two new event pages for the NARUTO CARD GAME: Manga Barcelona 2026, running December 5 to 8, and CCXP 2026 in São Paulo, running December 3 to 6. Both get Tutorial Sessions. Both hand out the CP-001 Chakra Card as a thank-you.

If you’re in Europe, Barcelona is the one to care about. It’s the next stop on the continent after Essen, Paris and Lucca, and it comes before the BANDAI CARD GAMES Fests in Orlando (January 7 to 10, 2027) and London (January 15 to 17, 2027).

Barcelona: Gran Via Instead of Essen

The venue is Fira Barcelona Gran Via in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Bandai’s event page is pretty bare: „Join our Tutorial Session, and learn how to play in a fun, immersive way.“ The session is free. The convention isn’t, so you’ll need a Manga Barcelona ticket. In Bandai’s words: „Don’t forget participation in any of the activities will require entry to Manga Barcelona.“

The sign-up method isn’t settled yet. „Details on how to participate in the Tutorial Session will be announced soon.“

The rules match what we’ve seen before. „You may only participate in 1 tutorial session throughout Manga Barcelona,“ and „Demo decks are not available to take home.“ The Chakra Card has strings attached, too. You only get it if you’re registered to the „NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL“ on BANDAI TCG+ and fill out a survey after your session. One card per person. Doesn’t matter how many sessions you booked or played.

I think the survey hoop is a smart move (from Bandai’s chair, anyway). Everyone chasing the promo lands inside TCG+, and that’s exactly where the in-store Premier Demo Events kick off in February. Bandai is quietly building itself a mailing list for the June 2027 launch.

Worth the Trip?

Nobody’s flying to Spain for one tutorial round and a promo card. But if you already had Catalonia on the December calendar, or you hit manga cons for fun anyway, block out the dates. The page doesn’t say whether Bandai sells anything on site, like a playmat. All it lists is the tutorial and the Chakra Card.

São Paulo Gets the Same Package

CCXP at São Paulo Expo is pretty much copy-paste. Same template, same one-session rule, same CP-001, same TCG+ channel and survey. You need a con ticket, the session costs nothing, and sign-up details come later. What I take from it: Bandai isn’t skipping South America in the launch year.

The calendar is where it gets fun. CCXP opens December 3 and Barcelona on the 5th, so they overlap for two days. Then December 19 brings the NARUTO block on the Jump Super Stage at Jump Festa, where Bandai has promised new information, and demo players there get the CP-001 as well. Three continents in three weeks, one promo.

Speculating on CP-001 collector prices? Keep counting events. Each new date chips a little more off the scarcity, and Barcelona and São Paulo just added two in one go.

I’m watching the Barcelona sign-up page and will post the moment Bandai names the booking method. So, anyone heading to Spain in December?
