Bandai adds Tabletop.me in Dubai to the schedule: free NCG tutorials November 6 to 8, with sign-up on-site on the day.
Dubai. Honestly, I did not see that one coming. Bandai dropped a new event stop onto the official NCG site today (October 9): NARUTO CARD GAME is going to Tabletop.me in Dubai, November 6 to 8, 2026. So far that’s the first Middle East stop on the whole list.
It’s happening at The Concourse Convention Center at Dubai Outlet Mall. Tabletop.me bills itself as the biggest fully dedicated tabletop gaming convention in the Middle East, with board games, miniatures and RPGs, and it runs its own TCG market on top of that.
Sign Up at the Door, No Lottery
Details on Bandai’s page are still thin. You get Tutorial Sessions where you can „learn how to play in a fun, immersive way.“ Admission is free. The demo decks don’t leave the table, though, so no taking them home.
Registration is where it gets interesting. The plan is on-site sign-up on the day of the event, with further details to follow. In case you lost track: the Asian stops ran on lotteries (at one point five were open at once), and PAX Aus in Melbourne went with an app. And Dubai? Old school. Show up early, get a seat. I’d rather plan around that than around luck of the draw. Still, it obviously rewards whoever gets through the door first in the morning.

There’s a catch, and Bandai spells it out: „Don’t forget participation in any of the activities will require entry to Tabletop.me.“ According to the ticket site Platinumlist, tickets start at 30 AED (roughly $8) and come in sessions (Friday from 4 p.m., Saturday in two blocks, Sunday noon to 4 p.m.). The official Tabletop.me site doesn’t show prices yet.
Promo cards? Playmats? Anything to buy at all? The page says nothing. If you’re holding out for some Dubai-exclusive goodie, you’ll have to wait for those follow-up details.
Why a Dubai Stop Matters
For most of you it’s not a weekend trip.
What gets me is the pattern. Bandai keeps spreading its pre-release presence over a ton of regions, and it’s pretty obviously testing different sign-up methods as it goes. My theory (feel free to call me paranoid): this is field research for the 2027 organized play launch, and whichever approach lands in your local store gets decided on weekends exactly like this one.
If you’re reading from Europe, SPIEL Essen is the closer option. And tomorrow (October 10, Naruto’s birthday) brings the NYCC panel, with card game news and a new roadmap promised.

Things are quiet in the community right now. Quiet, not dead. Over on r/NarutoCardGame, BastionEdits is building proxies of the demo decks („Proxies take FOREVER“) and writes: „Came from the Union Arena community and can’t wait to see how it plays!“ Same post also asks whether Yu-Gi-Oh really is the closest comparison. (My tip: just try it, the demo decks are up as a PDF.) Someone else simply wants a Discord that keeps up with NCG news. Can’t blame them.
So which one gets your vote? Lottery, app, or queuing at the booth for a session seat?
