Bangkok and Singapore open NCG sign-ups on September 11, but the official fest pages send you nowhere: Singapore links Jakarta's long-closed lottery, and Bangkok has no link at all.

Sign-ups for the Hong Kong NCG tutorial session opened yesterday, and Bangkok plus Singapore follow on September 11. Click through to the registration on Singapore’s official fest page, though, and you land on an event whose application window closed back on August 24. Jakarta’s.

The apply button on the Singapore page points at bandai-tcg-plus.com/series/8080. That exact series ID also sits on the Jakarta page, whose window ran August 10 to 24 and has long since shut. Singapore never got its own registration series linked. It got the neighboring stop’s. Bangkok keeps it even shorter: the registration note there is plain text with no link behind it at all.

Both pages carry the same update date, August 28.

Five Cities, Three Addresses That Work

The series IDs aren’t just number soup, so here’s how they currently map on the official pages. Jakarta (October 10 and 11) runs on series 8080, Manila (October 24 and 25) on 8122, Hong Kong (November 28 and 29) on 8207. Those three go where they should. Bangkok (November 21 and 22, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi) and Singapore (December 5 and 6, Sands Expo Convention Centre) are the two outliers.

Manila closes tomorrow, by the way. If you still want in: September 3.

How many people are going to hit that button on September 11 and get dumped into a lottery that has been closed for two weeks? And never notice, because the page looks like every other city page.

The Face Photo Is the Real Bottleneck

No verified face photo in your BANDAI TCG+ account, no entry into the draw. Bandai says on every one of these pages that verification can take a week or longer, and advises registering early. For Bangkok that is exactly where the missing link hurts: you can’t open the series page ahead of time, can’t bookmark it, can’t check whether your account cleared. You can wait and hope something clickable shows up on September 11. That’s it.

The rest is identical everywhere. Participants get a CP-001 Chakra Card, the same promo handed out in Jakarta and Manila. Hong Kong draws from October 15, Singapore from November 5. Bangkok adds one wrinkle: minors can’t complete face verification themselves, but may still take part using their account.

Personally, I think the mistake itself is harmless. Copy-paste slip, the kind every rollout produces, fixable in ten minutes. What interests me more is what it says about the pace: five cities, five near-identical pages, all posted the same day, and on two of them nobody clicked the button again. A Kagebunshin where two of the clones didn’t quite finish forming.

Why This Matters in Europe Too

Essen runs October 22 to 25, Paris in parallel, Lucca from October 28. Whether those three European stops hand out their tutorial sessions through the TCG+ lottery as well, Bandai hasn’t said. If they do, you now know what to check first on day one of sign-ups. Not the date. Whether the button leads anywhere at all.

And if Bandai patches this before September 11 (which I expect), it was just a bug nobody but a few people with too much time for series IDs ever noticed. I’ll look again on the 11th and report back once Singapore actually points at Singapore.
