Naruto TCG: Orlando Gets a Date, London Gets Nothing

On August 21, a short item went up on the official NARUTO CARD GAME site. It reads like calendar housekeeping. It isn’t. The Orlando stop of BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27 finally has a firm date: January 7 through 10, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center in Florida.

Why does that beat a regular diary entry? Because Bandai already flagged January 2027 back in July as the window when Tutorial Sessions move off the convention floor and into local stores. Orlando is the first date that falls inside that window and comes with an actual street address attached.

One date, one hall, and a whole lot of „Coming Soon“

The Orlando page takes about forty seconds to read. Tutorial Session: yes. „Event Commemorative Items“: announced, contents unlisted. Admission and ticket sales: Coming Soon.

Anyone who has followed Bandai for a while knows this rhythm by heart. Date first, tickets weeks later, and if you sleep through the notification you’re out. Gen Con ticket registration opened in June for an event at the end of July. Extrapolate that to Orlando and you land somewhere around October or November for the sales window. Nobody has confirmed that anywhere. It’s pattern recognition from years of watching how this publisher operates.

The Gen Con gift set is the more interesting reference point, mostly because it’s the only one we have: the CP-001 Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.- promo, a backpack, a logo sticker, and a voucher for the official playmat arriving in 2027. Getting that Chakra card meant registering for the NARUTO TCG UPDATES channel in the BANDAI TCG+ app and finishing a survey on top. The sessions themselves ran behind closed doors. No photos, no video, no audio.

Does Orlando get its own promo design, or does it recycle the Gen Con card? The page says nothing either way. And for a game that hasn’t sold a single pack yet, those are exactly the cards that will be driving eBay listings two years from now.

Eleven stops, and Europe gets one

The full Fest calendar goes like this: Jakarta on October 10 and 11, Manila on October 24 and 25, Bangkok in November, Hong Kong on November 28 and 29, then Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei and Shanghai in December. Orlando in January, London in January, Tokyo in early 2027.

Nine of eleven stops sit in Asia. London is the only European dot on that map, and its page flat out does not exist yet (404 as of today). No date, no venue, no title lineup.

Here’s the detail that’s easy to skim past. Bandai explicitly states on the Fest site that commemorative items at each location will only feature the titles participating at that location. Translated: no Fest automatically guarantees an NCG presence. Orlando confirms the Tutorial Session outright. London confirms nothing so far.

My read? London happens, but late in January and with far less lead time than Orlando got. The One Piece Card Game rollout followed the same shape, where European event availability trailed Asia by roughly half a year.

If you are in Europe, October is your month

Anyone not flying to London or Florida in January has a much easier option well before that. NCG is showing up at Spiel Essen in Germany from October 22 to 25, and that runs completely separately from the Fest calendar. Paris Games Week lands in the same window, plus New York Comic Con in early October, PAX Australia, and Lucca at the end of the month.

What Bandai actually builds in Essen is still an open question. Going by the Gen Con template, a Tutorial Session with demo decks is the obvious setup, probably with some giveaway tied to an app registration. If you’re going, install the TCG+ app beforehand and subscribe to the NCG channel. Costs nothing, saves you five minutes of fumbling at the booth while the line grows behind you.

A reality check so nobody turns up with the wrong expectation: nothing is for sale at any of these dates. The worldwide release is set for Summer 2027, and Bandai has scheduled the next big information drop for December 2026. Until then it’s demo decks, promo swag, and the open question of whether the Leader system with 51 cards, five Chakra cards and one Summon card actually plays as cleanly at the table as it reads on paper.

I still find the Fest distribution pretty telling. Bandai is testing a new TCG where its own infrastructure runs densest, and in that math Europe isn’t the primary market, it’s the follower. For the card game itself that means nothing at all. For how fast you get boosters from Summer 2027 onward, it might mean quite a bit.

So which is it for you: Essen in October, or waiting for your local store in January?
